譯者的說明：

這首詩歌的歌詞原文是根據《新約聖經》的《馬太福音》第六章9-13節，為了配合樂譜原曲的韻律節奏，歌詞的中譯方面沒能將傳統〈官話和合本〉的經文直接套用，而是採用意譯並參考〈和合本新修訂本〉的版本。其歌詞如下：

Our Father in Heaven:
May your holy name be honoured; may your Kingdom come and may your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today the food we need.
Forgive us all the wrongs we've done, as we forgive the wrongs that others did to us.
Do not bring us to hard testing, but keep us safe from the evil one.
For the Kingdom and the power and the glory are yours, now and forever.
